Vessel Movement Information

Tracking vessels up and down the Texas coast, we offer daily, weekly, and monthly vessel movement reports for all the ports of Texas, as well as HarborLights, a real-time vessel tracking system, so you can see your vessel in the Houston area anytime you want.

Maritime Issues

From safety, security, and environmental response questions to long-term research projects that help your business grow to answering your questions about port operations, regulations and strategic planning, the Port Bureau is able to provide the information you need. Managing the Houston Ship Channel Security District, Greater Houston Coffee Association, and Houston Customhouse Brokers & Freight Forwarders Association's administrations, we are dedicated to responsive service and constantly expanding our knowledge base.

Port Businesses

Business is all about relationships. Maintaining relationships with the businesses who matter in the port community, we offer opportunities for members to mingle at monthly luncheons, and yearly events such as our golf tournament and annual dinner, keeping lines of dialogue open in the maritime industry. As the "Switzerland of the Port", we pride ourselves in our impartiality and dedication to open communication.
