Port Houston to Discontinue Saturday Gate Hours at Container Terminals

Port Houston plans to discontinue Saturday gate hours at its Bayport and Barbours Cut Container Terminal. with April 29 to be the last Saturday gate offered. the Saturday gate hours were implemented in June of 2022, but Port Houston indicated in a recent announcement that these additional hours had not been well-utilized. They will continue to work with customers to find the best solutions to maximize efficiency through their terminals.
