Headquartered in Findlay, Ohio, Marathon Petroleum Corporation (MPC) is a leading, integrated, downstream and midstream energy company . The company operates the nation's largest refining system. MPC's marketing system includes branded locations across the United States, including Marathon brand retail outlets. MPC also owns the general partner and majority limited partner interest in MPLX LP, a midstream company that owns and operates gathering, processing, and fractionation assets, as well as crude oil and light product transportation and logistics infrastructure.

Midstream
Our Midstream segment primarily includes the operations of MPLX LP, MPC’s sponsored master limited partnership, which gather, transport, store and distribute crude oil, refined products, including renewable diesel, and other hydrocarbon-based products via refining logistics assets, pipelines, terminals, towboats and barges; gather, process and transport natural gas; and transport, fractionate, store and market natural gas liquids.

Global Marine
Global Marine is MPC’s full-service, international and domestic marine shipping segment. We manage chartering, commercial marine operations, freight trading, demurrage, marine technical operations and marine assurance through our offices in Texas, Ohio, and Singapore.
